Alliance Française scholarship 2024
Congratulations to the 2024's Alliance Francaise scholarship recipients:
Syesha Sampson from Berkeley Institute, Gabrielle Smith- BHS, Emma Allington and Taliah Wade from Somersfield Academy, and
Annabelle Davidson from Saltus.
The program has been financially supported by the generous donation of The Christian Humann Foundation since 2001.
The students have been presented and congratulated by the French community during the Alliance Francaise’s Annual dinner on March 15th, at the Dinghy club.
The scholarship’s winners will spend three weeks in a French language school in Cannes, as well as experience the French culture by learning to surf, visiting historical villages in the south of France, enjoying the local cuisine, and making new friends from all over the world.
Students from previous years all returned with improved language skills and cultural knowledge. One of them called the experience a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”.

To apply, please write an essay of at least 350 words in French stating the following:

Click here for the entry form. More details available from any of the local schools. To be eligible, students must be studying French in Bermuda, be between the ages of 14 and 17 as of July 1, 2024, and have a valid passport.
The presence of the winners will be requested at the French Alliance Annual Dinner, in March, where they will be introduced to the French Community. Testimonials
